In previous years the event has been run by The Aldersbrook Family Association and with their blessing Caitlin Downie and Calum Downie, with support from Dan Clapton at The Wanstead Tap are making sure the event is the place to be this summer.

We have been working hard for the last 6 months to get everything ready for Music in Wanstead Park 2018 and we are expecting it to be a lovely day. We are also really excited and proud to be welcoming you to this years event.

As with all things these days there are a few things we need you to know before the big day just to ensure that everything and everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. Please take some time to read the points below so that there are no surprises on the day.

See you there!

We have some awesome food and drink stalls coming along but you are welcome to bring your own picnics as well.

You are welcome to bring your own alcohol provided it does not come in a glass bottle.

Footballs are allowed but only in the designated activities area.

Gazebos are allowed to be erected but not within the fenced Temple enclosure. Gazebos must also be open (no side paneling) and firmly secured. If we believe the gazebo is not secure we may ask for it to be removed.

This event is completely inclusive and young and older people are welcome. We hope our young guests will enjoy the entertainment we have organised and if there are people attending who need assistance please do let us know before the day so we can ensure their needs are catered for.

Your ticket entitles you to come and go from the event as you please up to 9pm (21:00). Please ensure you keep your ticket/wristband on you at all times.

This event is a glass free event. This includes drinking glasses and glass bottles.

Sadly no pets are allowed except guide/assistance dogs.

BBQs and other naked flamed items (e.g. candles) are prohibited.

Avoid bringing items which can be deemed a weapon or nuisance. For example, portable speakers, drones, kites, pointed/serrated kitchen knives, cricket or base ball bats.

Under guidance form Redbridge Borough Council and Police bags will be searched and registered with a coloured tag upon entry. This will help us keep everyone safe and identify which bags have been searched.

Do be aware that some stalls are cash only stalls.

There is no parking at this event (except blue badge holders). Please travel sustainably.

The event operates a Challenge 25 policy with regard to the selling of alcohol so please bring correct identification.

Those that have purchased concession tickets please be aware you may be asked to show proof of age and/or student status if applicable.

The use of drugs (including legal highs) and/or drunk and disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated.

In the unlikely event of an emergency please follow the advice of security and officials.
